A Love Story on Wheels: Electric Bike on Valentine's Day

It was a quiet night before Valentine’s Day, Rahul and Ananaya were texting each other. They had been classmates in college and had started falling for each other. It was their first date the next day and they were wondering what would be the ideal first date, they thought about a lunch date, a day at a theme park, and many other ideas.

Suddenly Rahul said, “How about a long ride, early morning sunrise, and then breakfast early in the morning?”, Ananya couldn’t hold her excitement and said YESSSS!!!. Rahul had his brand new M16 which was all set to go. They decided to meet at 5 in the morning. electric bike on Valentine’s Day.

Chapter 1: The First Date

Rahul had arrived at Ananya’s home and was waiting for her. He wore a black leather jacket a white T-shirt and blue jeans which matched his black and white shoes. On his left arm he had his Armani watch and a khada in his right arm. His woody perfume was filling the air around him. That’s when Ananya locked the gate and slowly walked towards him, she smelled like flowers and dressed comfortably in her cream color jeans and a jacket.

They both looked into each other’s eyes and a happy smile was visible on both of them. Rahul asked Ananaya “Are you ready to go on a ride in an electric bike on Valentine’s Day?”. She smiled and said,” I have been waiting for this from the time you said it”

Chapter 2: The First Ride

Rahul started his M16, A jet black Majestic electric motorbike that had the right color combinations of a royal brown seat cover, silver metal in the bodywork, and final touch of the Red “X” in Komaki. It’s LED Light, lit the way. Ananya settled in the back seat and placed her hand on Rahul’s shoulder. They started riding through the quiet dawn, and she felt the morning breeze on her face, she couldn’t believe she was traveling on an electric bike on Valentine’s day.

Initially, they were enjoying the silence in the company of each other. She was surprised on how the M16 was such a silent ride instead of the traditional loud bikes. She blushed as was a little more at ease, and placed her chin on his shoulder and her hand on his hip while riding.

She asked him, “So where are we going now”, he replied, “I am taking you to a special place today, i wanted to go with you, so that will be our special space”. While he was speaking he also set up the GPS in the M16. She looked at the TFT Screen, 160Km away and she said “Oh so I guess we have a lot of time together and winked at him in the mirror”

Chapter 3: The Ups and Downs

As the ride continued, Rahul and Ananya were talking about so many aspects of a relationship, the communication, expression, and the differences they both had. They were riding through a forest, the road ahead had potholes and bumps were tough to balance. After a brief silence, Ananya asked “Rahul if you and I had differences how would we deal with it?”

Rahul smiled and said “Ananya, you can see this difficult road ahead, despite it being rough can you feel any discomfort” Ananya did not understand why he was saying this. She said “ No, I don’t feel any discomfort” He Said “That’s because of the adjustable Dual rear suspension that I have, a little bit of adjustment with communication and understanding, we can solve the differences between us, and just like this ride, you are safe with me” She smiled and hugged him and places her head on his back. She couldn’t believe that an electric bike on Valentine’s Day could turn out to be so romantic.

Chapter 4: #SunKissed

The orange sun had just risen and the light gently landed on their faces, Rahul enhanced the park assist feature and gradually parked the bike at the side of a simple tea shop. While he was waiting for the coffee, she took a selfie for her Instagram story, she typed “#Sunkissed”. As he handed her the coffee, both of them stood by the M16 electric bike on Valentine’s Day and enjoyed the beautiful view. She looked into his eyes, smiled, and said “I Never want this ride to end”
